Israel Angels

Israel Angels is Israel’s premier angel investment group – a diverse network of high net-worth individuals with a common goal of obtaining exceptional financial returns by investing in promising, technology based, Israeli ventures.

Israel Angels was founded in 2005 with the purpose of providing strong growth companies with an attractive alternative to institutional and venture capital financing.  Since its establishment, the group has become the premier choice for companies seeking private funding in the range of $0.5 million to $2 million.

Criteria

Although it accepts applications for funding from a wide range of companies, the group typically invests in innovative, technology-driven ventures, according to the following set of criteria:

• Company type – High growth, technology companies which require limited sources of funding yet show strong potential for high returns.
  
  
• Product type – Defined and scalable, demonstrating innovative technology, clear market advantage, and embedded intellectual property (IP).
  
  
• Product stage – Post-proof of concept, beta testing, working prototype or actual sales.
  
  
• Management – Strong and driven team, with proven technology and business track record.
  
  

The Funding Process:

1. Application – Interested companies should complete the Application Form and send it together with an executive summary to VentureInfo@Israel-Angels.com.
   
   
2. Preliminary meeting – Should the Israel Angels team feel your application fits our selection criteria, we will invite you to our offices for an initial meeting to review all aspects of your company.
   
   
3. Initial introductions – In some cases the Israel Angels representative may select to initially present the company to a selected group of members in order to validate the potential of the company. Often, an initial commitment for investment is received at this stage.
   
   
4. Company presentation agreement – Should the company be accepted for presentation to our investors’ club, you will be invited to register with Israel Angels and present at one of our company presentation events.
   
   
5. Company presentation preparation – After you register, you will be required to enter a preparation sessions to help you perfect your funding materials including presentation, executive summary and proposed term sheet.
   
   
6. Israel Angels company presentation events – Company presentation events take place in one of several locations: Tel-Aviv, London, Manchester and Johannesburg. There are plenty of networking opportunities throughout the event to discuss your business opportunity with the Israel Angelsmembers.
